Gentile Tug of War

God's glorious messenger now explains the vision, giving Daniel a history lesson pertaining to the suffering and discipline of Israel. This prophecy covers 400/2500 hundred years from Daniel's perspective, and allows us to look back at God's sovereignty, as He not only predicts the future, but does so with perfect accuracy. God knows everything, and uses even Gentile kings and kingdoms to carry out His will, especially as it pertains to Israel.
