After declaring to Moses that He was making a covenant with Israel to do marvels in their midst, God then reminds them of the feast that they are to have. He started with the Feast of Unleavened Bread to commemorate their leaving Egypt, including a reminder all that open the womb are His since He delivered them by killing the first born. He reminded them to celebrate the weekly Sabbath to remember that He is a better Lord than Pharaoh. He commanded them to celebrate the Feast of Weeks which is a commemoration of them receiving the law. Lastly, they were to celebrate the Feast of Ingathering, the picture of how the first fruits of all creation will be gathered at the end of time. Even as God is promising them new marvels, He is also reminding them to remember the marvels that they have already seen. Then He made the promise that every time they celebrated those feasts that they would see a marvel. He would protect their property and their crops even though it would be in the middle of harvest. Moses stayed with the Lord for forty days and forty nights again fasting and wrote the ten commandments in stone for Moses to take to Israel. When we consider the promise of marvels, we should remember that He promised that He would work through the church to do greater marvels than these
