A Remnant Will Return

In Isaiah 10:20-34, we are shown promises the Lord God of
Hosts makes to His remnant.
I. God will save His remnant.
A. The remnant will lean on Yahweh, the Holy
One of Israel in truth, rather than the King of
Assyria (v. 20).
B. The remnant will return to their mighty God
(v. 21).
C. The remnant will return, but the rest will meet
destruction overflowing with righteousness
(vs. 21-23).

II. God will preserve His remnant.
A. So do not be afraid (v. 24)!

1. For I'll turn my fury from you to them
   as I have done for you in the past (vs.
   25-26) . . .
2. And his burden and yoke will be
   removed (v. 27).
   B. Do not be misled!
3. Though he advances toward you in
   great power (vs. 28-32) . . .
4. I will advance in judgment against him
   in greater, terrifying power (vs. 33-34).
