Backbiting

Backbiting is something that is condemned in the strongest terms in the Bible, and yet it is one of the things practiced most, even among those who profess to be children of God. To insult someone to their face is not as bad as slandering them behind their back to other people. The book of James tells us that the tongue is set on fire of hell, and that is surely an obvious fact.
