A Tent in the Desert Cannot Help Your Guilty Conscience

Jesus Christ has already accomplished salvation for all His people. The text discusses three things that communicate this theme:

1. A tent in the desert displayed God's design to deliver His people from sin and death
2. The work of the Levitical priests showed that the people did not have access to God as long they had to depend on the work of the priests to approach God for them
3. The human nature of Jesus Christ was the greater and more perfect tent by which Jesus made His people acceptable to God.
