3 Calling His Disciples

1. The first fact about Christ's call is that it is planned. The call is planned; it is intentional. It wasn't by accident that Christ was traveling alongside the sea. There are no accidents, only amazing providences.

2. The call of Christ is planned. It is more than that; it is personal. It was Jesus who did the "seeing." His call is not random.

3. The call is purposeful. Jesus didn't call his disciples to a life of ease and comfort. He didn't call them to self-indulgence. He called them because he had a purpose for them; a plan for them.

4. What happened after Jesus called the four fisherman; what did they do? They immediately left their nets and followed him. Christ's call is powerful.

Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts. Today is the day to follow Christ.
