Jesus Will Come Again

Today we continue our study of the Upper Room Discourse by transitioning to the gospel of John. Here we find that Jesus is the first person to talk about the rapture of the church, and He did it in the Upper Room with His believing disciples. In this study we find that there are several parallels between what Jesus said in the Upper Room, and what Paul said to the Thessalonians, both passages are meant to encourage believers as they progress through difficult sections of life by looking forward to the blessed hope of Christ's return in the air for His bride, the church.
