Heart and Treasure

Today, a tremendous amount of attention is paid to the biology of the heart and keeping the heart healthy. We could only wish that the same sort of concern is placed on the spiritual heart - the spiritual, ethical center of a man. We are not concerned, so much, with the physical heart. The Word of God addresses us and is concerned with our spiritual heart. Christ gives us introspection and draws a parrallel to the physical heart and having a healthy spiritual heart. How healthy is our spiritual health? Christ is concerned with the internal and what are our internal motivations. The Peace of God shall keep our hearts. It is nothing of ourselves, but we must look to God for our spiritual heath. If we seek out His will and precepts - we will have a healthy spiritual heart by God's grace.
