The Earmarks of Love

Paul not only establishes the concept of Love being the excellent way, but he sets forth a path to apply this love. Paul dismisses gifts without applying these gifts in an attitude of Love. The child of God is rooted in Christ. We have been given the deep love of God. Due to this we must emulate God's love. Now we are shown practical ways to emulate God's Love to our neighbors and in our life. Paul applies this in a negative way, using the word NOT, because he know us as well as himself and that we must deal with our sin. Let God, through Paul, apply these words to our heart!
