The Third Commandment

The 3rd commandment still deals with the first table of the law and our relationship and behavior with God. This commandment follows logically from the 1st and 2nd. We are dealing with the revelation of the living God to us. He reveals Himself in His names and virtues. As such, these names are Holy and we can worship Him through this. It is important to remember as we live in a world that gives no consideration to this and freely uses His names in vain. Let us be reminded to stand guard and remain vigilant on how we and when we speak of the living God and when to properly use His names - for His glory only!
