The Authority of the Church To Discipline

One of the true marks of the church is that of church discipline. Jesus has committed the keys of the kingdom to bind and to loose, that is, to keep someone out or in the kingdom. When elders make decisions consistent with God's Word in disciplining sinners, then it is sealed in heaven. Very, very sobering.
