Grace and Glory

This was the final message in Pastor Jonathan Stobbs' evening ministry in Paul's Epistle to the Philippians.
What is a saint? What defines a saintly life? Unlike the Catholic view on sainthood, the Scriptures make it clear that a saint is quite simply a sinner saved by grace. In these final verses Paul is summarising the thrust of his message to the Philippians once again, and in them he also reminds them of saintly attitude and conduct. In this powerful final message, Pastor Stobbs speaks of the different elements that are seen here including, saintly separation, saintly worship, saintly joy, amongst others. As he points out, Paul's admonitions are full of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the glory of God. Those two
things are essential to the believer as they are what it is all about. The grace of God through the Lord Jesus Christ is what saves us,
and sets us apart, adopted into the family of God, recognised as saints. The glory of God is our whole motivation for living, the chief
end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
