Fears on Every Side

Paul was admonishing, warning and reinforcing Timothy as a Father would his son since he called him his "son in the faith". In all the dangers, people whom to watch and doctrines to teach and how perilous the times would be to not fear for God had not given him a spirit of fear. Though he had infirmities God would strengthen the inner man and to be faithful through the end.
