Judgment Pending: Seventh Seal

The opening verses of chapter eight are the final preparation for the wrath of God. The scroll is now completely unsealed in heaven, so it is time to open the scroll. The seven angels who stand before God are given seven trumpets to sound, to announce the Day of the Lord. Another angel approaches the altar of incense with a golden censer, filled it to the brim with fire and cast it down to the earth - the result is that God will now answer the prayers of the saint and fully judge unbelievers with His wrath.
