Purification of the Conscience by Christ's Work

The writer describes the items that were in the two compartments of the tabernacle and the ministry of the high priest on the Day of Atonement. He shows that this ministry limited access to the presence of God and did not perfect the worshippers' conscience. But Christ passed through and entered the sanctuary in heaven itself, applying his blood, which had absolute power to finally purify our consciences, that is, the total inner spiritual reality of man's being.
