The Church of the Closed Door

Respected speaker and author Dr. David Larsen teaches about the Laodicean church in this message from Shasta Bible College's Alpha/Omega Conference in March of 2007. Larsen favors the view that the seven churches of Revelation preview the seven ages of church history, and says of the church of our day: "I think this is the apostate church at the end of the church age, fulfilling many prophecies, which was repulsive to the living Christ." Larsen states, "This is the last phase and gasp at the end of the church age, in my view." Larsen deals with some of the problems of contemporary Christianity. "Have we become dull Christians?" he asks. "We have got to be careful. There is no guarantee that orthodoxy itself will preserve us alive."
