The Church Of Christ I Timothy 3:14-15 & various verses

The church is the primary and ordinary means by which Christ's salvation is applied and perfected in the life of believers. Today, the church has been marginalized. While important, many view the church as secondary to a personal relationship with God. If you really want to grow in the word you don't go hear a sermon you have a private devational time or small group Bible study. If you want to evangelize, you don't bring people to a worship service you host a special event designed to reach non-Christians away from the church building. Yet, Christ has promised to build His church. His church is were His power is most clearly seen and experienced in this age. The church is central to the Christian experience.
