Escape from Yahweh's Wrath

In prophesying the coming destruction of Nineveh, the prophet Nahum sets forth two general truths that are true for all people at all times. First of all, Yahweh's wrath will fall on his enemies. Secondly, Yahweh knows those who take refuge in him. There is only one way to escape God's wrath against sin, and we see this escape route fully explained in the NT: it is by fleeing to Christ and hiding in him.
