Food Which Endures to Everlasting Life

90

Upon these words hang both life and death. John Chapter 6 examines the characteristics of true and false disciples. False disciples are looking for something to feed their pride and prosperity, while true disciples have one holy desire their souls to be fed by Jesus Christ. They are not fixated on themselves. They want bread from heaven. In our text we find Jesus confronting the crowd for their unbelief even though they like what they see in Jesus. They are seeking some form of personal gain. What God is seeking is true worshipers who desire to feed upon Him, and fellowship with Him regardless of the times and the seasons the Lord ordains.
