But Sinners

This sermon is about preparing to come to the Lord's Supper. One of the prerequisites of repentance is a true apprehension of the mercy of God in Christ Jesus. He did not come to call the righteous, but sinners. So, the Lord's Supper is for those who acknowledge their sin and that Christ died for the ungodly who believe in Jesus. So, we come to table in faith and repentance examining ourselves in the light of the purpose of Jesus to call us to Himself in mercy/
