File Cabinet Theology

There is a phenomena in today's Evangelical Christianity where people will say that they hold to orthodox truths and yet their way of life seems totally uninformed by what they say they believe. Thus, the term "file cabinet theology" has been coined to describe those who have a statement of faith tucked away that they can pull out when their methods are questioned.
