The Foolishness of Unbelief

"The fool has said in his heart, 'there is no God.'" This verse is found in both Psalm 53 and Psalm 14. It is foolish to deny God's existence because it violates reason, the very mind we use to make that declaration is a wonder of God's design; because it violates our conscience, the fact of God's existence is written within us; because if it were true, there would be no meaning to the words, "right and wrong," and we know that certain things ARE right (like treating others fairly) and certain things ARE wrong (like killing innocent people for our own pleasure or profit). It is foolish to deny God, not only because of natural revelation, but because of the evidence of special revelation, God's Word. Citing the fields of Cosmology (no, not fingernails, space) nanotechnology, biology, etc., this message attempts to marshal evidence to help remove stumbling-blocks from non-believers.
