Face to Face

From the Garden of Eden to the New Jerusalem, we were made to commune with God face to face. But the Fall and all of its fallout have left us wandering far from God's presence. Only God himself can be our Savior. The good news is that in Christ Jesus he has acted to do exactly that. We have the great hope of face to face communion with God. But what does that look and feel like while we are still on the way to the New Jerusalem? There is no more compelling description than Psalms 42-43.
