The Triune God's Work In Salvation

In the ongoing debate over the doctrine of election the critical question at the center of the issue becomes the basis of God’s choosing. This issue then begs the question, what is the foreknowledge of God? This question can only rightfully be answered, and understood, by the Scriptures as God has spoken. God’s choices in salvation are made on the basis of His sovereign will made according to His good pleasure. God’s choices in salvation are from the mass of humanity which are all sinners and undeserving of forgiveness and eternal life. God is under no obligation to sinful humanity to save any and does so in a demonstration of His love toward those who were His enemies. The revelation of man’s salvation given by God give detail of the work of the triune God with all members, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit involved this divine rescue and giving of new life.
