Jesus Looked to Heaven

Prayer was very intricate and important during Jesus' earthly ministry. To His Father, He prayed a limited, intercessory prayer for His elect people whom He loved. He did not pray for the world of the unsaved. His preaching and prayer always corresponded. The Lord's prayer is a model for us to know about His effectual intercession for His people, justifying them based on His work alone.
