Man of Steel Movie Review

Kevin Swanson reviews the latest summer blockbuster with his daughter Emily. The much-touted, "Christian" themed movie is drawing rave reviews from Christians everywhere. However, carefully constructed stories always operate on multiple levels. In the cultural war raging around us, the naive are easily taken in by simplistic reviews of films that count cuss words and find redemptive themes and Christ metaphors everywhere. Two worldviews appear side-by-side in this new Superman flick, and the old Christian God disappears in favor of new gods.
