Spiritual Violence, Pt. 1

I. This teaching is for believers.
II. This teaching exposes our wickedness.
III. Jesus calls us to be spiritually violent.
D. Three examples: (NOTE: we are all different, temperamentally, personality, struggles, etc.)

1. Communication Media: smart phones, internet, computer, TV, Facebook, etc.
2. Relationships: friends that lead you to do things that are not godly; relationships with the opposite sex that is not wholesome or pure; haunts, places in which you know can only lead to sin (brothel, bars, gambling casinos, etc.).
3. Good Things: family, house, car, job, friends, relatives, food, health, germs, etc. — all fine except for the individual, he or she is idolatrous. A clean house, a respectable family, etc. fine but it is obsessive, it controls your mind, energy, effort, emotions, etc. It is idolatry. It is something you are not allowing it to go.
