The Third Oracle - Zion's Restoration

This third "word" of the four-fold oracle builds upon the previous two and is the focal point of the oracle. It also reemphasizes the central theme of Zechariah's prophecy, namely the Lord's design and determination to restore His dwelling place among His people. Desolation and exile weren't to be the last word, but were themselves steps in God's purposeful process by which He was going to banish the curse of creational estrangement and restore all things to Himself.
