Showdown on Mt Carmel

In the land of Palestine, atop a mountain called Mt Carmel, we find Elijah the prophet of God standing against the wicked king Ahab and the 450 false prophets of Baal. Here we read of the backslidden people of Israel, called upon to side with Jehovah that had given them this glorious land. On this day, the True and Living God sends his Prophet to the top of this large plateau armed only with his Divine commission to do battle with the wicked servants of Jezebel the queen and her false god.
This story is the stuff of folklore. This is a greater and more interesting battle than anything that Hollywood can dramatize. It is of far greater significance than anything that may have happened in the days of the Wild, Wild West.
