Pleading for the Defenseless

We look forward to some anniversaries, but there is one that occurs every year that can only be a cause of shame and lamentation - the anniversary of the awful Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.

What does the Bible say about abortion and how should we respond as Christians? This sermon examines these questions and seeks to determine the true costs, physical and spiritual, of 32 years of legalized abortion in America.

May we pray that our nation would repent of its ongoing genocide against the unborn:

'A boat rows against the stream; the current punishes it. So is a nation violating a law of God; it is subject to a judgement. The boat turns and goes with the stream; the current assists it. So is a nation which has repented and put itself into harmony with God's law; it is subject to a blessing. But the current is the same; it has not changed, only the boat has changed its relationship to the current. Neither does God change—we change; and the same law which executed itself in punishment now expresses itself in reward.”
