The Battle of Jericho

Of all the walled cities of Canaan of which it had been said that they were walled up to Heaven, none was more imposing than Jericho. With its walls standing a combined six stories above the surrounding plain, it seemed to be a target unable to be defeated. But the Lord told Joshua that He had already given the city into Joshua's hands, and that the army of Israel was to prepare to attack the city. But the tactics that the Lord specified for the battle were among the most unusual ever set down. Would the people of Israel be able to trust the Lord's Word and to rely on His command?
