The Earth is the Lord's

David was familiar with the first chapter of Genesis. He restated a portion of it in verse two. The creation story is dependent upon the sovereignty of God. How far does sovereignty reach? David said not only "the world" but "they that dwell therein". The most critical point is, what does this say about salvation? Again and again, the Scriptures declare God is sovereign in all things, especially in the redemption of sinners.
