Gospel Hearers Hardened

Christ Jesus preached salvation clearly and simply. He used parables to open up spiritual truths and mysteries, which at the same time fell on deaf unbelieving ears. What is quite solemn to consider, is that the preaching of the Gospel is not only a way of opening hearts, but can also harden unbelieving hearts:
