Why We Don't Lose Hope

Christ is real and He calls those who believe in Him to live in great hope and encouragement.

1. We need not forget that we can find encouragement in the worst of situations.

2. Our source of encouragement is the Word of God.

3. The Word is as applicable today as it ever has been.

• The Word is timeless because Christ is timeless
• The work of Christ is dispelling the darkness

4. It is easy to see if you are living under the wisdom of God's Word.

• Abandoning wisdom leads to being overwhelmed
• Embracing wisdom leads to encouragement

5. There are some who simply don't live this way.
