Sermon 5. The condition of human souls in the state of separation.

In this mammoth sermon, Flavel goes into what could very well be, the longest explanation of the soul's eventual departure from the body.It Expounds deeply into the state of death that causes fear in so many. Flavel encourages the Saints to be cheerful as death approaches and to be not fearful.

It touches practically every conception of what goes on at the moment of death till the glorification of the body. There is almost an hour devoted to the world's ideas as well, e.g., the paranormal.

I recommend listening to about an hour or so at a time. Pay close attention to the final two hours... It describes that Resurrection that we so long for.
