Grace to You and Peace from God

Having quickly reviewed the "gospel of God" in v. 2-4, in v. 5 Paul tells his readers that the gospel has resulted in their receiving "grace and apostleship" to serve God in taking the gospel message to the unbelieving world. Then,. having identified his intended audience, Paul concludes the salutation to this letter by pronouncing the blessing of "grace to you and peace from God.' With this blessing Paul teaches us that in receiving grace the nature of relationship with God is forever changed by also receiving "peace from God."
