Answers to Our Praying

In this message, we are looking at prayer. It is the will of God that we bear fruit. Part of fruit bearing is prayer (15:7). It has been said prayer is the soul's breathing itself into he bosom of its heavenly Father. Prayer involves praise, thanksgiving, confession and petition. So in this message we look at praying in a manner that pleases the Lord:

1. prerequisites for pleasing prayer:

• abiding in Christ
• his words control us
• praying in his name

2. promise given for pleasing prayer
