Pastor Jeff believes in the Providential View of history. As such, he endeavors to show how God was sovereignly at work in the Renaissance, which was, itself, not a religious movement. The Renaissance brought about a mixture of good and bad in society, but it is undeniably an important factor in leading toward the Protestant Reformation.
