Prayer Answered and Prophecy Fulfilled

Zacharias is selected to perform the once-in-a-life-time duty of burning incense. The pious people pray while he enters the temple & await his return. In the temple, Zacharias is visited by an angel who informs him that his prayers have been heard: he & Elizabeth will have a son to be named John. John will fulfill Malachi's prophecy & prepare a people for the Lord. We learn the importance of prayer meetings; of family piety; & God's determination to fulfill prophecy.
