Waiting Upon The Lord

This psalm of David reflects how he feels when there is urgency in knowing what God could do for him but does not get a response He is concerned about the absence of God, the abandonment of his plans and the advancing of the enemy. The delay in God's response ought to trigger a response of faith in God as David writes I have trusted in thy mercy.
