Passover Blessings

Aim: To understand that Christ is the church's all-sufficient Savior.

Exegesis: Christ is our slain Passover blessing, fulfilling all types (v. 12) and righteousness (vv. 13-16). Christ is our substitutionary Passover blessing. He died for our sins (vv. 17-19) and our justification (vv. 20-21). Christ is our sacrificial Passover blessing. His body was given for us (v. 22); His blood was shed for us (vv. 23-25); His life was lived for us (v. 26).
