I. We resemble them in outward ways

A. Just like us, they both were “conceived and born in sin” (Gen. 5:3)

B. Just like (most of) us, they both grew up in a “Christian setting”

C. Just like us, they both worshipped regularly

II. We resemble one of them in spiritual ways

A. Examine their difference in heart

B. The differences in their approach to God

C. The differences in their acceptance before God
