Judgment Turns to Joy

As we turn to the final chapter in Zephaniah's prophecy, we see that Yahweh will pour out his burning anger on the sins of the nations, including his own people. We also see that in mercy he will do whatever it takes to change the hearts and lives of his people, both Jews and Gentiles. In the final verses we see the revelation of the true personhood of Yahweh as he takes delight in singing with joy over his redeemed and beloved people.
