God is sovereign; man is accountable. There is no excusing Jacob for his complicit, fallacious behavior with is mother, Rebekah. Still, Isaac was dilatory in not caring for the family and covenant blessing as he should. They are each unsound and spiritually flawed in their dirty dealings.
