In these verse verses of Romans 12 I've become convinced that the Apostle Paul is setting before the Church the Christian ethic.

He sets down principles that are practical
directions for how we as believers are to live. They are therefore important and worthy of our due attention. They pretty well set the stage for the conduct of God’s people as they are a part of
Christ’s Church.

The Christian’s Sacrifice is really just the proper and fitting response of service that is a fitting response to the God’s Amazing Grace.
