1 The Lord often causes us to face our trials and difficulties just as Israel had to face Jordan 3 days before knowing how to cross it;
2 Keeping our eyes on Christ as Israel keep their eye on the Ark;
3 Holiness is essential to victory;
4 The Lord is with us in our difficulties as He was in the midst of Jordan until everyone passed over;
5 The need to be reminded of God's goodness.
