The Meeting of Two Kinsman

Boaz has committed to Ruth that he was willing to be her kinsman-redeemer. In this fourth chapter we find Boaz implementing his pledge of redemption with Ruth. Boaz had settled in his heart to resolve this issue and to make Ruth his bride. But Boaz would not violate the law of God to achieve this end. He finds Ruth's nearer kinsman and they both resolve this commitment found in our scripture reading.
