Beareth All Things

This sermon is on the influence of charity on the best gifts being exercised. The best gifts can't keep us from schisms, but charity can. 'Bear' means 'to cover,' as in: to protect or preserve; with silence with the intention to conceal; and, in order to endure or forbear. Charity in the exercise of the best gifts covers sin without going against the truth. It is slow to notice, recognize, and revenge all things. Charity is a mature virtue.
