The Charge Continues, Requisites for Pastors & Deacons

The notes have been updated slightly from the message. 1Timothy chapter 3 continues Paul's charge to Timothy is a continuation of chapter 2, but respects the servant offices of the church. The importance of this cannot be overstated because this is, as Paul shows us in the closing verses of chapter 3, that this concerns God's house, the house of the living God, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. It must be ordered according to His word, not the pastors, or the deacons, or any other man's order.
