The aims of persecution for God's people is to hinder, to stop and to nullify the preaching of the gospel. The attack on God's people is the mind, the body, and the lying accusations.
The response to persecution is to rejoice! As God's people, we are on the Lord's side and the Lord is on your side! We are assured of a great reward!
